Imagine a beer that is as citric, bitter and refreshing as bighting into....lets say, an orange, or maybe a burning city full of unsuspecting villagers...imagine this is served at your birthday, and imagine that it was a blast...
Well that kind of happened...
Axe-idental was supposed to be a West Coast/New Zealand hop infused sumbish, but we got shipped the wrong yeast, and we made due! Thankfully, we got sent the same yeast strain that made Brasserie d'Achouffe famous!
The yeast contributed a spicy, dry and fruity zone of badassery, that was backed with a hefty saison malt bill and was THEN uplifted by some good hoppage.
The result?
Something that smelled, looked and tasted like orage/grapefruit juice, with enough booze to kill a moose.
That is how we roll.
